The iconic Pendle Hill dividing the rural River Ribble and the semi industrial River Colne. Somehow she grows more beautiful the more you see her. She has a never ending kaliedascope of moods, shapes and colours that change cloud by cloud and minute by minute. I painted this on a cool late summers morning.
